Lladró is one of the most universally recognized Spanish brands. It is also one of the brands the world most widely associates with Spain, culture, and luxury. Heirs to the age-old tradition of porcelain, brothers Juan, Jose, and Vincente Lladró knew how to make it their own, and to bring an art they felt passionate about much closer to people.
In 1953, the Lladró brothers began to fire their first creations in a Moorish kiln built in their home’s backyard in Almàssera, a small town on the outskirts of Valencia. Now, 60 years later, Lladró has around 1,000 employees, several associated companies abroad, and a select network of its own boutiques located in some of the world’s major cities.
Lladró stands for tradition, art, and prestige. All Lladró pieces are handmade in the brand’s workships in The City of Porcelain, following an entirely artisan process.
Demand for Lladró porcelain creations has only grown over the years. Today, the company still produces elegant, handcrafted works of art that are sought the world over.
